Artist Statement:
In my work I play often with substituting non-traditional materials in traditional jewelry motifs. I made this ring because it amused me, and I like to find humor in life as much as possible. The challenge here was finding an elegant solution to securely set the ‘diamond’ as the last step (since it could not be heated or have pressure applied).
